Summit County ARES has supported the American Diabetes Association’s “Tour de Cure” bike ride for several years. With nearly 500 riders on five courses simultaneously, the event is a logistical challenge for the 45 ARES volunteers who run communications.

Assistant Emergency Coordinator Dennis Conklin, AI8P, has two webinars coming up, showing how he used Depiction mapping software for planning beforehand (August 30) and operations during the event (August 31).
