Hover Text Display Time

Is there a way or can a way be added to control how long the hover text displays before it fades away?

It's coming

On December 6th, 2009 George says:

We're actually making it possible to have the hover text permanently display: codename perma-text.

Watch for it in our next update, planned in the next 2 weeks. (We are currently testing this and some other really useful features.)
