Problems Loading Some Flood Data

I recently obtained some flooding data from FEMA's Map Service Center. They sent me a CD from their Flood Map Store that featured several shape files that contain various types of information on floods. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to load. Every time I try to load the files, the program freezes, and the data won't load. I have successfully loaded some other shape files, but these aren't loading.

Should I send the files to someone in an e-mail to see if they can open it?

FEMA Shape files

Yes, please send a set of the files to support@depiction.com.
We'll have a look and see what we can find.

In the mean time, is there a .prj file with each? Check out this page for more info on importing shape files into Depiction.

Also, upgrade to 1.01.o: we have a new FEMA flood zone Quickstart data source that may be useful to you.

Thanks for The FEMA Info

I've loaded it into my Depiction, but do you think you could elaborate on how it works? Loading it created a blank box in the Northwest corner of my area that I can contract or expand, but I can't figure out how to make it display mapping information. Thanks!
