Trouble Loading CSV File

I just loaded a CSV file into depiction to map out the addresses of our organizations volunteers. The vast majority were plotted correctly, and came out well.

A few, however, were not plotted. I don't think it's because Depiction does not recognize the addresses; Depiction created a separate list of addresses it couldn't recognize and the addresses I'm referring to were NOT in that list. Nor is the problem that the address is outside the Depiction area - I know where one of the addresses is, and it's not being depicted in that location. Even when I set depiction so that these addresses are the ONLY ones to be visible, they still are not, so the problem isn't that they're being lost in the clutter, either.

Any additional suggestions anyone has would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, here's a couple of the addresses that won't plot correctly.

"391 S Orange Grove Blvd # 19, Pasadena, CA"

"1213 E Stuart Ave #1, West Covina, CA"

Thanks for your help!

CSV trouble

The "#" may be causing an issue. Try removing those. That's just what I see in common off the bat.

I Just Gave That a Try

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Next Step

Please send us the CSV file, so we can test it out here: support@depiction.com

Also, have a look in the Depiction Help File under "Using Depiction" and "Importing from spreadsheets" for the most thorough instruction we have on how things should be for successful file importing.

Thanks!

worked for me

The addresses

"391 S Orange Grove Blvd, Pasadena, CA"

"1213 E Stuart Ave, West Covina, CA"

worked for me, or they're on the right street at least.

The problem was fixed

It turns out I needed to remove the appartment #'s prior to loading the CSV file. Changing them after they had been loaded into Depiction didn't work.

Clarification

Sorry, I should have been more specific to remove the "#" from the CSV file: delete the elements, then reload.

That was the end solution.
