Mimize Revealers to a corner of the Map - & Label them
Posted October 26th, 2009 by gizmo
I have a suggestion for the revealers. I have about 10 so far, and building more daily. When I minimize them, I can hardly see the little white square on the map. And when I had other use my maps, they had no idea that they were even there.
My suggestion is this. When you close a revealer, have it go to a pre-determined area of the map, shown as Revealers. Each one would display its name so anyone can see exactly what they are for.
This is a very fast idea, I can supply additional info, if you think this is a viable option.
Thanks

Minimizing Revealers
Jim/Gizmo (which do you prefer?),
Thanks for the suggestion. It's great to see that you are using Revealers so thoroughly.
We are working on a similar solution to managing revealers, so keep your eyes open for changes.

1.2 Update
In version 1.2 we changed the icon for a minimized Revealer, and added a semi-permanent label (user can close it).

Revealers
What would work best for my use would be for the Revealers to iconify to an area similar to the Quickadd menu. That way no matter how far in or out I'm zoomed, the icons are always acessible.

Excellent idea, Eric.
I'm reasonably certain that is on our upcoming features list, and will confirm it.
