WinLink 2000 Support

A natural add-on in the amateur radio environment would be the ability to work with the WinLink 2000 system.  The addition of the "Telnet" connection shouldn't be too difficult, and maybe once the interfacing through a TNC is completed for APRS data via Radio the next step might be retrieving WinLink email via RF.  In the end, the ability to send and receive email via a RF Winlink connection would be desirable.  Next up NBEMS?

Winlink as POP3

How difficult is it to set up a Winlink POP3 service? This would function with Depiction as is.

I agree with your progression ideas, though.

Thanks!

Testing

There are a couple of groups now testing this functionality. Did I see your email in the east coast list?
