Multi Monitor Support
I am the Disaster Assessment Lead for our Red Cross chapter that covers a 2 county area. I have only been playing with your software for a few minutes but some immediate suggestions came to mind.
1. Multi Monitor Support: To work and edit on one copy of the map while simultaneously showing a full map on a second monitor (I'm thinking one of our plasma displays) so that I can zoom and work to enter data while other departments do not have to read over my shoulder or look over my shoulder. Alternatly: To be able to split our large 2 county area so one map is on each screen.
2.Multi PCsupport: It would be great if others could pull up the live updating maps on their PCs to look up info using the same data file I am working on, especially at our remote office which has VPN access but would have to drive 30 minutes to look at my PC screen. Also we could enter data from both counties into one master map, maybe a user ID can be used to give view/edit rights to diffrent users and track what changes were made.
3. Not nearly as needed, but one of the key things in Emergency work is logging and documentation of events. Maybe the software could be made to take snapshots at a predefined area, or even just a text log of the time data was entered or removed (and by who if multi user is ever implimented).
I know none of these would be simple additions, but to be a really valuable tool I feel the need to be able to have multiple people able to access the data at the same time is necessary, and logging would be a great addition.

While using the software
While using the software more I realized much of the above could be acomplished with an embedded web server that has an auto refreshing page.
Multi-monitor idea
You can have two Depictions running at the same time. While this would not precisely meet your need, you could have the same map set up on each so that people could look at one while you work on the other.

new features
Excellent feedback, Brian. We have not yet considered the multimonitor support, but have certainly looked into the other two -- sync'ing multiple Depictions and logging/replaying.
There is already the Live report feature in Depiction (not available in Trial) that allows integration of data from the field that can be viewed simultaneously from multiple running sessions of Depiction. That is certainly something you could look at even now.
Thanks again for your post.
