Hurricane Biz Online Tabletop Exercise
Will the next major hurricane hit your business?
Do you have a plan in place to keep your doors open after it passes?
Has your plan been tested?
“Hurricane Biz” is an online tabletop exercise to help owners and managers of businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies, along with their employees, to assess the capabilities and capacity of their disaster response plan in regards to a hurricane.
During the exercise, management and staff will have the opportunity to work together as a unified disaster response team. The team will work through the various activities associated with preparing for, then responding to and recovering from, a category two hurricane. Whether you have a disaster plan in place that you want to assess, or if you are looking for a compelling starting point to develop one, “Hurricane Biz” will provide you with both tools and experience to help you reach your goal.
This exercise will use the ON-Line eXercise (ONX) System, a web-based tool that will allow participation in the exercise from your normal base of operation, as well as Depiction, a desktop mapping tool that will assist in the development of your disaster plan.
Your organization's entire Disaster Response Team can participate in this thoroughly engaging and thought provoking exercise for only $499.
In addition to your team participating in the exercise you will also be provided with:
- Depiction - A mapping software package valued at over $200, plus exclusive discounts on additional copies.
- COOP Builder - A secure, intuitive, Internet-based system for developing, maintaining and hosting your organizations disaster response plan, valued at $450.
