First Amateur Radio Webinar a smash hit
We had our first webinar with our good friend and Amateur Radio User David Friedman, KE7GOY. He and Kim Buike did an incredible job detailing the ways that Depiction can be useful to amateur radio folks, particularly those involved with emergency response.
Over 350 people attended the webinar, and we had great reports from those who attended. Here are a few of the things some attendees had to say:
“Thank you for the webinar! It has been very enjoyable, and software appears quite beneficial.”
“Awesome job - Thanks!”
“You guys have done an amazing job… Thank you for the great presentation.”
Participants had a ton of great questions about the software, and a lot of interest in the beta for the new amateur radio Depiction add-on that's in the works. There was also so much interest in the product itself that it crashed our servers for a little while, as so many people tried to purchase the product at the same time! Fortunately, we got things up and running again pretty quickly (and upgraded our server to keep it from happening again!)
If you missed the webinar, don't worry! David and Kim will be doing it again, live, on Saturday morning at 11:30 AM EDT, 8:30 AM PDT.

Invaluable tool
I just bought the Depiction software and wow even if wasn't goining to use this mainly for Emergencies and Emcomms it is an interesting Mapping tool.
When the APRS tool is fully incorporated this will be an invaluable tool for Emergency Managers and a great asset to field use.
If you havent downloaded the Howard Hanson Dam Flood data do so ASAP and put this software through the paces
